Digital Education Gap
While Indian cities accelerate into a digital future, thousands of government schools in rural, border, and Himalayan regions remain without a single functional computer. Rentree Labs exists to change that.
Since 2011, we have channelled our technology capabilities — hardware procurement, installation, networking, and software — into building fully equipped digital learning spaces in the schools that need them most. We don't donate boxes. We deliver working, connected, curriculum-integrated environments with training for teachers and long-term maintenance support.

Etawah Smart
Education Drive
Flagship CSR Project · Phase 1
Our largest CSR undertaking — 20 fully equipped digital libraries and 20 interactive smart classrooms installed across government schools in Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh. Each digital library features computers, curated e-learning content, and broadband internet access. Each smart classroom is equipped with a projection system, interactive board, and a structured curriculum integration plan co-developed with school principals and district education officers.
The project was completed on time and within budget, with full handover documentation and a 12-month maintenance commitment. Teachers received structured onboarding and ongoing helpdesk support.
Jammu Border
School Libraries
Border Region Initiative
Two fully equipped digital libraries installed in government schools located along the India–Pakistan border in the Jammu region — one of the nation's most strategically sensitive and educationally underserved zones. These schools had never previously had a functioning computer lab.
Each library includes a set of networked computers, educational software, offline content repositories to account for intermittent connectivity, and a secure, climate-appropriate installation. The project was carried out in coordination with the J&K government's Department of School Education.
Chamoli Mountain
School Project
Phase 1 · In Progress
An active initiative currently deploying 9 smart classrooms and 9 digital libraries across mountain schools in the high-altitude Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. These schools sit at elevations that make standard infrastructure delivery extremely challenging — yet they remain home to students with the same hunger for quality education as anywhere in India.
This project involves custom logistics for high-altitude transport, weather-hardened installations, and solar-backed power solutions where grid connectivity is unreliable. Curriculum integration is being done in partnership with the Uttarakhand Education Department.
Muzaffarpur Digital
Computer Lab
Computer Lab Initiative · Bihar
A fully equipped digital library and computer lab installed in a government school in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The facility provides students with access to networked computers, educational software, and internet connectivity — bringing quality digital learning infrastructure to one of Bihar's most educationally important districts.
The computer lab includes structured seating, UPS power backup, and a curated offline content library to ensure uninterrupted access even during power fluctuations common in the region. Teachers received hands-on training on integrating digital tools into the curriculum.
Andhra Pradesh
Digital Library
Digital Library Initiative · AP
A complete digital library installed in a government school in Andhra Pradesh, providing students with computers, e-learning content, and broadband connectivity. This project extends Rentree Labs' CSR footprint into South India, demonstrating the reach of our education technology mission beyond the Hindi heartland.
The library is equipped with Telugu-language educational content alongside the national curriculum digital resources, ensuring local relevance for students. Installation, teacher training, and a post-handover maintenance period were all included in the project scope.

How We Deliver CSR Projects
We treat CSR engagements with the same rigour as commercial projects — scoped, tracked, and delivered on time with full documentation.
Funder Partnership
We work directly with the CSR teams of PSUs and corporates to structure scope, budget, and timelines that meet their regulatory and impact reporting requirements.
Site Assessment
Every school is surveyed before procurement — power availability, space dimensions, security, and connectivity. Remote schools get solar-backed and offline-capable configurations.
Procurement & Logistics
Computers, boards, projectors, networking equipment, furniture, and software — sourced, configured, and transported to site. Including high-altitude and border-area logistics.
Installation & Setup
Full installation by our certified technicians — structured cabling, hardware setup, OS and software deployment, and network configuration. Handed over in fully working condition.
Teacher Training
Structured onboarding for teachers and school administrators — covering hardware operation, educational software, daily use workflows, and basic troubleshooting.
Post-Handover Support
12-month maintenance commitment covering hardware failures, software issues, and connectivity problems. Impact reports submitted to funders at 3-month intervals.
